Sharky Bar Live Entertainment Productions is pleased to announce that Mr. SINN SETHAKOL, Grandson of the most famous and legendary iconic Cambodian singer from the 1950’s – 1974, SINN SISAMOUTH who was killed during the Khmer Rouge era – a victim of the Killing Fields.

Just having returned from a highly successful and historical U.S. Music Tour with The Drakkar Band (first Khmer Psychedelic Rock band) , Baksey Chom Krong (first Khmer “surf rock” band), and Chhom Nimol of Dengue Fever Band, he was featured in the Award winning Documentary “Don’t Think I’ve Forgotten – Cambodia’s Lost Rock ‘n Roll”. SINN SETHAKOL and his 4 piece Band will sing the Khmer songs of his Grandfather, SINN SISAMOUTH along with other original compositions.

Peter Cosa, Drummer of DRAKKAR BAND, will be a part of the Band. SINN SETHAKOL Band continues Sharky Bar’s new “Wednesday Night Showcase Night” primarily featuring Bands which have never played at Foreign Bars before.

SINN SETHAKOL’S magnetism and effortlessly versatile voice will give the audience a glimpse of what made the elder Sinn the country’s biggest pop star. SETHAKOL will take on a variety of styles in his Performance – from tender romantic ballads to frenetic psych-rock. To see SINN SETHAKOL perform live at Sharkys, the audience is bound to be bowled over by the almost palpable sense of joy coursing through his set.
